“But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord”

2 Corinthians 2:18 (KJV)

Glory to Glory, Our Hope in Christ

Have you ever wanted something with such appetency that you could SEE it in your mind’s eye?

Indeed, when we truly want something, we are inclined to seek it with great vigilance.

The Word of God tells us that in the distance, rests an inheritance, a piece of destiny reserved for every member of God’s kingdom.

Although our desire has not yet been fulfilled, our spirits see it, as far off as may be.

So, how does one acquire the promises of God?

First and foremost, we must look to Christ.

Get Behind Me Satan!

But he turned and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a hindrance to me. For you are not setting your mind on the things of God, but on the things of man.”

Matthew 16:23 (ESV)

Satan has a bad habit of standing in front of us, attempting to block our view of the Lord Jesus.

He demands our focus, like an self-absorbed child, crying out for attention.

This is why Jesus told Satan to “get behind Him.”

Jesus looked upon the Face of God constantly, and through his propitiation, we are privileged to look upon the Face of the Lord Jesus.

Yet, just as Jesus used His authority to direct Satan out of His sight, we must use our authority in Christ to deter Satan.

Trials and tribulations may still persist but regardless of this, we look forward to our restoration and glory in the Lord.

Patience is a Virtue

“But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.”

Romans 8:25 (ESV)

True patience means to suffer in peace.

How does one SUFFER in peace?

This is only possible through the Grace and Strength of God given to us in Christ.

Remember, the only way to achieve something we truly want is to center our attention it and walk towards each each day_ one step at a time.

Trust Jesus, focus on Him, and follow Him.

When you do this, everything else will fall into place.

Our hope is in God through the Lord Jesus Christ. And so, we eagerly await the unveiling of all of God’s Creation, restored and made whole once again.

Thanks for reading today. Much Love, Many Blessings, Jesus is Lord.
