Not long ago, the Holy Spirit answered a question that had weighed down my heart for some time.

The age old question was, “why is the world and the people in it so unstable?”

Indeed, I recall writing a a song when I was a girl called “Unpredictable,” in which my pimply pre-teen self asserted the s‎ame question in lyrical form.

The chorus was as follows:

“Life is so unpredictable, yeah you’re happy,

then you’re miserable…. If IIIIIIIII can only_only hang on.”

Do you feel this way? As if you are in a constant state of flux? Going from elated to depressed, up and down, peaceful then tormented?

Or maybe you just feel lost and unsure in yourself and plans for the future?

“But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.”

James 1:6-8 (NIV)

The above passage describes a mentally ill person, likely one suffering from neurotic tendencies and low self esteem.

Now, WAIT… before you get offended and stop reading this post, I know this not only from my personal study of psychology, but from experience.

If you want to become more grounded, improve your mental health, and become sure of everything you do, keep reading.

“…and everything that does not come from faith is sin.”

Romans 14:23

There IT IS my brothers and sisters!!

The remedy to instability is faith in G-d’s plan for your life. If the plan has not yet been revealed to you, start by trusting that Jesus is the Messiah.

Doing so will open up a window to heaven and bring forth personal revelation for the Father’s plan for YOUR life. I say YOUR life, not what anyone else thinks you should be or do.

“…for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”

Revelation 19:20 (KJV)

“Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. Though the rain comes in torrents and the floodwaters rise and the winds beat against that house, it won’t collapse because it is built on bedrock.”

Matthew 27:24-25

As the divine blueprint from G-d via Yeshua (Jesus) is downloaded to your mind, your spiritual house will be built up and established.

Remember, your spiritual house is unique, just as you are. Do not try to be like anyone else, other than who you are in Jesus.

If you find the path the Creator has laid out for you, you will live a life more abundant and fulfilled than even your wildest dreams.

But, it is up to you to find the path, and once you do, make every effort to stay on it.

Let every part of yourself be transformed into the image of the living G-d, in Jesus the propitiation for our sins.

“Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it.”

Matthew 10:39

Thanks for reading. Much Love, Many Blessings, Jesus is the Messiah.
