I never imagined myself to write anything that might be considered “political.” Yet, our nation as a whole has grown sick. And this spiritual sickness hovers over America, a plague of imbalance, as we go from one extreme to another. We are trading our resilience for complacence and our independence for dependence.
Confidence in Christ manifests as humility because only in Him are we made whole. It is only when we feel undervalued or unworthy, that we become puffed up and arrogant in order to try to hide that which we lack. Read more here about how you can be more humble, yet carry yourself with confidence.

Today’s Daily Devotion
God plants the Word in our hearts, which is Jesus. But, we are responsible for nourishing it, so that, it can grow into a tree of life inside each of our hearts. When we face trials and tribulations, God is cutting down the lies planted by the enemy, so there is more space for the Word to expand and grow.
New Age calls for disconnection from the world, to escape suffering while Christ calls for connection and to embrace suffering. Only when we embrace our suffering can we heal, and when we heal we can bring the healing of Christ to others. We can take part in bringing Heaven to Earth via the bridge Jesus made when He died for us.
