Brief History

Rosemary’s medicinal use dates back to the Roman and Greek antiquity.

Clearly, Greek scholars were aware of rosemary’s ability to boost memory, since they prominently wore rosemary garlands around their heads during examinations.

Who else is elated to know there were nerds, even in ancient Greece?

Historically, Rosemary was a welcomed guest at wedding celebrations, faithfully fastened to wedding dresses where she symbolized love, loyalty, and happiness.

In addition, sprigs of rosemary were arranged in the hands of the deceased to serve as a solemn sign of remembrance.
